Q: I am writing to inquire, I am 4 years post breast cancer free and wonder how this as part of medical history affects how this could affect embryo adoption? Thank you. -- Sandra
A: First of all, congratulations on being post breast cancer. That is always wonderful news to hear.
To answer your question, the main requirement you will find with any embryo adoption program is that you have a note from a doctor saying you have no known contraindications to pregnancy. If doctors believe you can carry a pregnancy to term still, most any program will work with you.
